If you only want to use your Aduro Hybrid with wood, the hybrid stove has a damper (see illustration below) for closing the pellet combustion manually. The pellet function does not work when this damper is closed. The damper is necessary, as you need to close the air to the pellet combustion to achieve an optimal combustion of the wood. However, if using both pellets and wood, the damper must be open (pulled forward).

If you get the alarm "Stopped. Air damper closed" in your app, it is this air damper the app is talking about. It then has to be opened before you again can fire with pellets.
