Components: Illigur bushing

NB: All changes and adjustments must be conducted when the stove is cold and disconnected from the power supply.

The illigur bushing is a high temperature plastic bushing that is placed on the handle rod that connects the handle to the two locking hooks. The bushing helps with smooth movement, eliminating metal against metal sounds and wear when using the handle. Over time this bushing can become brittle and might need a replacement.

Replacing the illigur bushing

To access the illigur bushings, the whole handle assembly must be dismounted. To do so follow this guide:

1. Unscrew the pinion screw and remove the closing hook.

2. Unscrew the screw holding the metal spacer and remove the spacer.

3. Pull the handle and the handle rod out from the bottom of the door.

4. Replace the old illigur busing in the top and bottom of the rod guides.

5. Reinstall the handle with the handle rod, the metal space and the closing hook. Make sure the two closing hooks line up when reinstalling them (see picture).
