LED light description

The colour of the LED light indicates the following:
  • Solid green = The Wi-Fi module is connected to the Wi-Fi (either via ethernet or Wi-Fi)
  • Solid blue = The Wi-Fi module is ready to be connected to the Wi-Fi
  • Solid red = Error. The Wi-Fi module should be factory reset
  • Flashing red, pink, or orange = The Wi-Fi module is processing

Resetting the Wi-Fi module

The module can be reset in two ways:
  • Wi-Fi reset: If you want to connect to another Wi-Fi network, you must reset the Wi-Fi. Press and hold the Wi-Fi reset button. The LED will flash pink. When it starts to flash orange, the Wi-Fi reset is completed, and you may release the button. As soon as the LED is solid blue, the module is ready to be connected to another Wi-Fi network.
  • Factory reset: Press and hold the factory reset button. The LED will flash red and eventually turn solid red. When it starts to flash orange, the factory reset is completed, and you may release the button. As soon as the LED is solid blue, the module is ready to be connected.

The Wi-Fi module in the pellet stove is connected to the control board through a square cable connector. The cable transfers data between the Wi-Fi module and the control board. The cable also powers the Wi-Fi module.

On some older pellet stoves (P1 and P4), a DB9 serial connector is only available, which is used with an external Wi-Fi module. A guide for the installation of this, can be found here

A guide for setting up the app and connecting it to the stove using the Wi-Fi module can be found here.
