Adjustments on the door are necessary and part of the maintainance of the stove. These adjustments can be performed in different situation:
- After the first combustions
- After a period of use
- Each time the closing of the door gets a little hard
Please notice: Always do the following with a cold stove.
Necessary tools
- 1 allen key 4 mm
- 1 fork wrench
The door and the closing mechanism can be easily adjusted, in 4 different places, as illustrated below:
ADJUSTMENT OF HINGES (1 AND 2)
The hinges maintain the door in its position and make sure it hangs straight. Moreover, it keeps a correct distance between the door and the stove, for a perfect closing.
In this video we show you how to adjust the door and closing mechanism on the Aduro 1.1 series:
TIP: If the door needs to get raised on the right side, the solution is to move the upper hinge a bit to the left.
Please notice: It might be necessary to do this procedure one more time, if the result is not acceptable. Then, you may as well need to adjust the rolls (3 and 4) on the right side afterwards, in order to secure a perfect closing of the door. To do so, please follow the instructions below.
ADJUSTMENT OF ROLL (3 AND 4)
- Open the door and make sure it remains open.
- Loosen the 2 fixing screws of the roll with a fork wrench and place the roll in the desired position, before fixing the screws again.
- Check if the door closes correctly, by making sure the “hook” picks the upper roll well.
- The door is now closing perfectly.
