If primary, secondary and tertiary air supply is not added, soot can accumulate on the glass and on the inside of the stove

Check the air intakes for obstructions:

  • Primary air intake: Check that the air intake on the bottom of the stove is not obstructed by ash or other residuals. The Aduro-tronic damper lever should move back and forth freely and without much friction.
  • Secondary air intake: Using a flashlight, check if the secondary air intake is not obstructed. The regulation dampers lever should move back and forth freely and without much friction.
  • Tertiary air intake: Using a small screwdriver, check if the holes in the back part of the combustion chamber are aligned and free of obstructions from ash or other residuals.

If there is an obstruction or the regulation dampers cannot move freely, remove the obstruction and clean from all ash and residual. Lubricate the lever with high temperature copper grease.

Note: On air models, you can only check point 3 (tertiary air supply).

Please notice - Lux / air models
If you want to use the wood burning stove without connecting the supply of combustion air, “breake” off the cover plate in the rear cover at the bottom of the back of the stove. Otherwise, there is not enough air for the combustion.
